A big thank you to all who came out to my open house/registration day, this past Sunday.
I did end up having to add on an additional day of classes.
The summer schedule will begin on Monday July 6th 2015, and classes will be held on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30pm-8:30pm, until the end of August.
I do have a very limited amount of seats still available for summer classes, so if you are interested in attending, please send me an E-mail at quilters.workshop@gmail.com and I will try my very best to accommodate you!

Summer Registration Day/Open House!
Hi Everyone!
Sorry for not posting a lot of blog posts recently! Been so busy!
As most of you know, my summer open house is this Sunday May 24th from noon-4PM

As a reminder, the first weekend in June, you will find me at the Brooklin Spring Fair!
I will be a vendor for the fair's craft show, which will be held in the Luther Vipond Arena in Brooklin ON. The dates of the fair are June 4th-7th 2015. For more information about the fair, please visit their website:

I have a new tutorial up on my YouTube channel, where I briefly give a tutorial on garden path quilts. Garden path quilts use a strip-piecing technique and make a fun baby quilt or lap quilt pattern, with mind-less sewing! You can find that tutorial here:

11:30AM - Julie from Inner Jewelz will be hosting a free yoga class!
12:30PM - Paul from Multi-Trade Building Services will be doing power tool demos!
1:30PM - Dr. Sara Ritzie from Royal Canin will be hosting a pet seminar! Free dog and cat food samples!
2:30PM - Kim and Sandra from Organizing Lives will be teaching an organizing basics seminar!

Upcoming Spring Craft Shows!

This past Thursday, I had the pleasure of presenting my trunk show presentation to the members of the Brampton Quilter's Guild, in Brampton ON. I was overwhelmed with the enthusiasm and positive comments that I received at the end of my presentation. I think it is safe to say that all of the members enjoyed my presentation :)
Very excited that I will be participating at the upcoming Spring Craft Show, held at All Saints High School, in Whitby ON.
The show will run this Saturday and Sunday, May 2nd and 3rd 2015.
Bring the whole family to support this show, hosted by the Cuddly Cats Rescue!

Brampton Quilter's Guild & Memory Pillow Custom Orders
Hi Everyone!
Super excited to announce that I will be travelling to the Brampton Quilter's Guild, this Thursday evening! I'll be packing up a whole car-full of items, in anticipation of sharing tips, tricks and stories with a group of people who love quilting as much as I do!
Can't wait to meet everyone!
As well, I will be advertising these memory pillow custom order options at my upcoming craft shows.

Happy Easter & Wishing for Spring 2015
Hello!
Happy Easter!
I've been busy busy busy getting prepared for upcoming shows! Life truly does have a way of passing by in a matter of a blink.
My next upcoming show is now less than a month away!
Saturday May 2nd and Sunday May 3rd 2015, I will be participating in a spring craft show, hosted by Cuddly Cats Rescue.
The show will be held at All Saints Catholic High School, in Whitby, ON. (closest main intersection being Rossland Rd. and Country Lane)
Hoping for some nice weather that weekend and lots of success for all the vendors!
As well, I will be hosting my summer open house early this year. Summer open house will provide returning and new students the opportunity to register for summer lessons, choose their projects, meet me, enjoy some refreshments, etc. I also often have special offers for those who attend so you don't want to miss out!
Open house will be on Sunday May 24th 2015
As well, a reminder that the spring session will end on Saturday June 27th 2015, and summer classes will officially begin on Monday July 6th 2015.

Cookies and Cupcakes for a Masquerade Ball
As many of you know, I am very much so in love with baking and cake decorating.
I think sewing and quilting will always win over cake decorating, simply because quilted items stick around a lot longer than edible works of art.

Recently, I made 3 dozen sugar cookies and 4 dozen cupcakes for a Masquerade Ball event.
I thought I would share my icing techniques for both the cookies and cupcakes, to give all my fellow-bakers some ideas and share some tips, that you may wish to use for upcoming Easter baking!
