Hi Everyone!
A big thank you to everyone who came out and supported me this past weekend at the Brooklin Spring Fair! This was the first year for the 50 Mile Market craft show.
It was a very long and exhausting weekend, but definitely worth it! I had a blast meeting lots of people and enjoyed all the events and performances that were going on inside the Luther Vipond Arena (which was where the craft show vendors were set up!)
Out of all of the customers that I had over the weekend, this little lady was definitely my most satisfied customer! I hope she enjoys playing with the pages of her Veggie Tales themed fabric book!
Definitely looking forward to participating next year, and assisting with the development of the second 50 Mile Market!
Just three more Saturday's left of my spring session! I can't believe how quickly this term has passed.
Summer lessons begin on Monday July 6th 2015, and will run every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evening, from 6:30-8:30PM
If you are still interested in booking summer classes, please contact me ASAP as there are very few spaces available!
You can send me an E-mail at quilters.workshop@gmail.com

Summer Registration Day/Open House!
Hi Everyone!
Sorry for not posting a lot of blog posts recently! Been so busy!
As most of you know, my summer open house is this Sunday May 24th from noon-4PM
Further details are listed below!
As a reminder, the first weekend in June, you will find me at the Brooklin Spring Fair!
I will be a vendor for the fair's craft show, which will be held in the Luther Vipond Arena in Brooklin ON. The dates of the fair are June 4th-7th 2015. For more information about the fair, please visit their website:
http://brooklinspringfair.com/
I have a new tutorial up on my YouTube channel, where I briefly give a tutorial on garden path quilts. Garden path quilts use a strip-piecing technique and make a fun baby quilt or lap quilt pattern, with mind-less sewing! You can find that tutorial here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEXJNpi4lW4
If you have any questions at all, or have requests for upcoming videos, please feel free to send me an E-mail at quilters.workshop@gmail.com
If you're interested in making a folded-star trivet, come to my open house, buy a kit and sign up for a class! They're super fun and make great gifts! (you could start now and be ready in advance for christmas gifts!)
Happy Sewing Everyone!
Love, Tiffany xo

Spring is Coming + Summer Updates !
Hi Everyone!
Is anyone else loving this weather?! The sunshine feels sooo good after this long and bitterly cold winter we have had!
A couple of my students finished some awesome projects this past Saturday, and I thought I would share the photos with you, because I'm so proud of their accomplishments.
Cheryl, one of my adult students is making "Frozen" themed dresses for her Granddaughters. Here is one of the lovely girls modelling her new "Frozen" dress. This dress looks like so much fun to spin and twirl around in!
As for what I've been up to...I've been doing lots of baking lately! And as always, prepping for upcoming spring craft shows and working away at summer project samples.
Speaking of which, the final day of classes for the Spring 2015 term, is Saturday June 27th 2015.
I will be hosting a Summer Open House event, which will provide new-comers with an opportunity to register for summer classes, and as well, it will be a day for all students to choose projects that they wish to work on over the course of the summer. More info to come!
Summer classes will commence on Monday July 6th 2015
Classes will run every Monday and Thursday evening from 6:30-8:30PM, throughout the months of July and August.
The final day of summer classes will be Thursday August 27th 2015
I will be accepting registration for summer classes, beginning on the day of the open house, which will be held near the end of May. The date is TBA :)
Interested in hosting a "Sewing Birthday Party" this summer? The details are below!
-The cost of a 2.5-3 hour party is $40 + the cost of each "guest package" (which will depend on which party-project is selected) x the number of party guests
For example, if there are four party guests, who wish to create pillowcases, the cost of the party is $40+ ($15 x 4 guests) = $100
-A maximum of six participants is allowed, with a minimum of three
-There are two party project options. The first option is a "pillowcase party". Where all six party guests will sew their own standard-pillowcase using fabrics of their choice. The second option is an "upcycled denim carry-bag". All six party guests will create a carry bag using denim.
-The cost of the pillowcase party is $15 per guest, and the cost of the upcycled denim bag is $10 per guest
-All six party guests must create the same project (Ex. all party guests make a pillowcase, or all party guests make denim carry bags)
-Parties must be booked a minimum of three weeks in advance
-Parties are booked in 2.5-3 hour increments. As this is approximately how long it may take for each party guest to complete their project
-A maximum of three adults may stay to observe the party, but must not interfere directly with the sewing lesson. Sewing machines must be used with caution and with minimal distraction. Even though this is advertised as a "party" it is essentially a sewing class/lesson.
-A minimum of 50% of the total cost of the party package must be paid for upon booking the party. The remaining 50% of the cost must be paid for a minimum of 24 hours prior to the party date. (Acceptable methods of payment include cash, cheque, E-transfer, Visa and MasterCard)
If you have any further questions or would like to request additional information, please feel free to E-mail me at quilters.workshop@gmail.com

Wendy, another one of my adult students completed this baby-sized rag quilt. She is amazing at cross-stitch, and has incorporated it into the quilt.
